The TC-K14B is a fast-response K-type thermocouple engineered for applications where rapid, accurate temperature measurement is essential. Unlike conventional sheathed thermocouples, the TC-K14B features an exposed welded-bead junction with minimal thermal mass, enabling it to detect temperature changes within fractions of a second. The sensor is constructed from a fine-gauge Chromel-Alumel (K-type) thermocouple wire pair, twisted together and insulated with a flexible fiberglass braid. The green-and-white color coding of the lead wire follows the international K-type thermocouple standard, providing clear polarity identification. The fiberglass insulation offers excellent thermal resistance and flexibility, allowing the sensor to be routed through confined spaces and around complex geometries without risk of insulation damage.
