Why does the controller trip on “phase loss” when I know all phases are present? Jul 24

Phase loss detection often works by monitoring the line synchronization signal or by comparing currents. Possible causes:

  • A blown fuse on one phase (even if the line is live, the controller sees no current or missing voltage zero-cross).
  • Loose connection or an auxiliary contact that is not closed.
  • High distortion on the mains causing misdetection. Adjust the phase loss sensitivity if the feature is configurable.
