FAQ
What do “single-phase”, “three-phase 2-leg” and “three-phase 3-leg” mean? Jul 24
  • Single-phase: Controls one phase of a 230 V or 480 V supply for single-phase loads.
  • Three-phase 2-leg (6-SCR): Used with three-wire delta or ungrounded-wye loads. It controls two of the three phases, while the third is a direct connection. It provides balanced three-phase control with minimal cost.
  • Three-phase 3-leg (9-SCR): Full control of all three phases, typically used with a 4-wire star configuration where the neutral is present, or when individual phase control is necessary.
