The MKD2 Series is a single-phase, dual-channel, DC-controlled AC solid state relay (SSR) designed for reliable, silent switching of resistive and inductive AC loads in industrial and commercial control systems. Each unit houses two independent switching channels within a single compact black housing, enabling two separate AC loads to be controlled simultaneously from a single device — saving panel space and wiring time compared to installing two separate SSRs.
The MKD2 accepts a DC control voltage of 4–32 VDC, making it directly compatible with PLC outputs, microcontroller I/O, and standard industrial control signals. The AC load side supports voltages from 24 to 480 VAC, covering 110 V, 220 V, 380 V, and 480 V systems worldwide. Load current ratings of 25 A, 40 A, 60 A, and 80 A are available, with all variants sharing the same physical footprint for easy interchangeability.
Zero-crossing trigger technology ensures that switching occurs at the natural zero-crossing point of the AC waveform, minimising electrical interference (EMI) and extending the service life of both the relay and the connected load. Individual LED status indicators for each channel provide instant visual confirmation of relay state, simplifying commissioning and fault-finding. The unit is CE certified and constructed from fire-retardant ABS with a dielectric strength of 2500 Vrms between input, output, and base.
