TT-501
Industrial Threaded Thermocouple Temperature TransmitterThe Maxwell TT-501 Series is a robust and highly versatile threaded thermocouple temperature transmitter engineered for demanding industrial environments. Housed in a rugged, explosion-proof aluminum alloy enclosure, this transmitter delivers reliable and accurate temperature measurement across a wide range of process conditions. An integrated digital display provides clear, on-site readings, while the RS485 (Modbus RTU) communication output enables seamless integration into modern PLC-based control systems, SCADA networks, and building management systems.
With its highly customizable design — featuring multiple thread options (M6, M8, 1/4 BSP, 1/4 NPT), a selection of premium probe materials (304, 316, and 310 stainless steel, brass, and aluminum), and a comprehensive range of lead wire materials — the TT-501 can be precisely configured to meet the exact requirements of any installation. Both grounded and ungrounded junction configurations are available, offering a choice between faster thermal response and electrical isolation to suit the specific demands of each application.
TC-K7/J7
Spring loaded non-adjustable bayonet sensor type K/JMaxwell introduces the high-performance TC-K7 and TC-J7 Series Bayonet Thermocouples, engineered for precise and secure temperature measurement in demanding industrial environments. These sensors feature a robust threaded spring-loaded bayonet cap for constant contact pressure and easy installation, making them ideal for applications requiring frequent sensor removal and reinstallation. Available in both Type K and Type J configurations with fully customizable options including probe diameter, length, lead wire material, and junction type, our TC-K7 / TC-J7 Series delivers accurate and consistent temperature readings for critical process control across plastics, packaging, chemical, and food processing industries.
TC-K8/J8
Ceramic sheath thermocouple with connection boxThe TC-K8 is a high-performance K-type thermocouple temperature sensor engineered for accuracy and durability in demanding high-temperature environments. Its defining feature is a robust ceramic sheath that provides exceptional resistance to thermal shock, chemical corrosion, and oxidation at elevated temperatures — making it the preferred choice for industrial processes such as kiln firing, furnace monitoring, and heat treatment operations.
The sensor consists of two distinct probe sections: a stainless steel section that connects to the connection box, and a ceramic section that extends into the high-temperature measurement zone. This dual-material construction combines the mechanical strength and machinability of stainless steel with the superior thermal stability and chemical inertness of advanced ceramic materials.
The integrated die-cast aluminum connection box provides a secure, weatherproof enclosure for the thermocouple terminals, protecting electrical connections from moisture, dust, and mechanical interference. Both the probe diameter and probe length of each section are fully customizable, enabling precise adaptation to virtually any industrial installation geometry. As part of the PIDMaxWell range of temperature measurement solutions, the TC-K8 is designed to integrate seamlessly with PID temperature controllers, temperature transmitters, and data acquisition systems.
NTC 10K
NTC 10K M8 Screw-Type Temperature SensorThe NTC10K Series is a compact, high-precision Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor temperature sensor housed in a rugged stainless steel M8 screw-body probe. Designed for direct installation into threaded ports on pipework, tanks, heat exchangers, and machinery, this sensor delivers accurate, low-cost temperature measurement across a wide operating range without the need for signal conditioning or cold-junction compensation.
At the heart of the sensor is a precision NTC thermistor element with a nominal resistance of 10 kΩ at 25 °C and a B-value (B25/100) of 3950 K ± 1%. The thermistor element is encapsulated within a 4 mm diameter stainless steel probe, sealed with high-temperature epoxy resin to ensure moisture ingress protection. The M8 threaded body incorporates a high-temperature silicone gasket to provide a leak-proof seal when installed into a threaded port. A 150 mm flat silicone lead wire terminates in a standard 2-pin SMP (Micro-Fit style) connector for fast, tool-free connection to the host system.
The NTC10K series is fully compatible with Maxwell's range of temperature controllers, as well as third-party controllers, HVAC control boards, and microcontroller-based systems that accept a passive NTC thermistor input. The sensor's small probe diameter, short lead wire, and plug-and-play connector make it an ideal drop-in component for OEM equipment manufacturers and system integrators.
