FAQ
What is the difference between constant current and constant power control? Jul 24
  • Constant current (I² control): Maintains the RMS load current at the setpoint, compensating for changes in supply voltage but not for changes in load resistance.
  • Constant power (true P control): Uses voltage and current measurements to compute real power (kW). It compensates for both line voltage fluctuations and resistance changes with temperature, delivering the most accurate heating result.
